The present invention relates to an antibody that specifically binds to a PAUF (Pancreatic adenocarcinoma upregulated factor) protein and its use. The antibody of the present invention binds to the PAUF protein with high specificity and affinity and suppresses the proliferation, migration, invasion and in-vivo growth of cancer cells.
