PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of improving protein production by cultured cells, especially mammalian cells, and a method of facilitating improvement in the efficacy of therapeutic proteins produced in cell culture.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a novel method of reducing protein misfolding and aggregation in the cell culture by growing the cell culture at a reduced temperature and/or reduced pH, and improving the quality of the protein produced in the cell culture. Thus, the method facilitates improvement in the efficacy of therapeutic proteins. The reduced temperature is 27.0 to 30°C and the reduced pH is 6.80 to 7.00.【課題】培養された細胞、特に哺乳動物細胞によるタンパク質産生を改善する方法、更に、細胞培養物において産生される治療用タンパク質の有効性における改良を促進する方法の提供。【解決手段】細胞培養物を低温、および／または低ｐＨで増殖させることによって細胞培養物におけるタンバク質のミスフォールディングおよび凝集を低減し、前記細胞培養物において産生されるタンパク質の品質を改善する、新規方法。前記方法により、治療用たんぱく質の有効性における改良を促進する、方法。前記低温が２７．０～３０℃であり、低ｐＨが６．８０～７．００である哺乳動物細胞培養方法。【選択図】なし
