PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ridging body for a ridge coating machine in which a ridge can firmly be shaped and scratching traces are hard to remain in the ridge after the shaping and a smooth ridge can be made.SOLUTION: A ridging body includes a rotating body (slope ridging part 82, upper ridging part) rotating mainly on a rotary central axis, and applies soil on an old ridge K by an outer circumferential surface of the rotating body. The rotating body is formed of: curved surface sections 841 where the distance from the rotary central axis gradually decreases toward the opposite side of the rotation direction F and a curved surface 841a is formed in the outer circumferential surface and edge sections 842 where the distance from the rotary central axis gradually increases toward the opposite side of the rotation direction F and an end face 842a is formed.
