To provide a ridge-coating machine capable of corresponding to soil quality and capable of carrying out proper ridge-coating operation.
SOLUTION: The ridge-coating machine 1 includes a rotatable soil-banking body 3 for banking the soil and a rotatable ridge-forming body 4 for forming the ridge by compacting the bank formed by the soil-banking body 3. The ridge-coating machine 1 enables the state of the soil-banking body 3 to be selectively exchanged between a normal rotation state of rotating in the normal direction and a reverse rotation state of the soil-banking body 3 rotating in the reverse direction at a rotational speed higher than that in the normal rotation state.
