PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion assisting device with less movement burdens on a person who requires nursing care.SOLUTION: The motion assisting device 1 includes: a boarding portion 23 a lower limb frame 20 rotatable with respect to the boarding portion 23 an upper limb frame 21 rotatable with respect to the lower limb frame 20 and a holding portion 22 rotatable with respect to the upper limb frame 21 for holding a part of the body of the person A who requires nursing care, thereby assisting at least one of a standing motion and a seating motion of the person A. The person A in a standing position is held by the holding portion 22.
