PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upper and lower limbs rehabilitation device, allowing the disabled to perform a prescribed joint movement of a paralytic-side upper limb or lower limb by a force of the healthy-side upper limb or lower limb, highly expected to recover and restructure the brain, preventing such a joint movement as exceeding the movable range of the paralytic-side upper limb or the lower limb, an erroneous operation, or hunting of the device, suited for use in facilities and general households, and reducing the cost of the device.SOLUTION: A first fixing member to which the healthy-side upper limb or lower limb is fixed and a second fixing member to which the paralytic-side upper limb or lower limb is fixed are connected to each other by an operation transmitting means, so that an operation having a same operation amount, operation speed and operation direction of those of the first fixing member can be simultaneously and mechanically transmitted to the second fixing member. Consequently, the paralytic-side upper limb or lower limb can perform the prescribed joint movement by the force of the healthy-side upper limb or lower limb.
