Disclosed are a novel Maitake mushroom (Grifola frondosa) extract and a composition comprising the extract, both of which can enhance the production of sebum more effectively. Specifically, disclosed is a Maitake mushroom extract produced by extracting a dried body of Maitake mushroom with pure ethanol.
