The invention relates to a device for inducing therapeutic hypothermia, comprising a blood pump combined with a Peltier-type thermoelectric refrigerator that allow the temperature of a patients blood to be modified extracorporeally. El dispositivo cuenta con unos medios conectados a la bomba y al refrigerador para extraer al menos parte del flujo sanguíneo del paciente, hacerlo pasar a través dicha bomba y refrigerador, y devolverlo al cuerpo del paciente.La présente invention concerne un dispositif dinduction dhypothermie thérapeutique qui comprend une pompe pour le sang associée à un dispositif de réfrigération thermoélectrique du type Peltier qui permettent de modifier de manière extracorporelle la température du sang dun patient. Le dispositif comporte des moyens couplés à la pompe et au dispositif de réfrigération pour extraire au moins une partie du flux sanguin du patient, le faire passer dans la pompe et le dispositif de réfrigération, et le renvoyer dans le corps du patient.
