PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizer excellent in the deodorizing capability, capable of efficiently applying light to a photocatalyst with less pressure loss when a deodorizing device is ventilated.

SOLUTION: The photocatalyst deodorizer includes: a lamp 2 as an excitation light source for the rod-shaped photocatalyst a deodorizing filter 4 with a plurality of net-like deodorizing sheets 3 including the photocatalyst layered on one another with spaces in-between and a fan 5 as a blowing means disposed inside a body having an inlet and an outlet. The deodorizing sheets 3 are obliquely layered in such a state that the angle &theta of inclination of the deodorizing sheets 3 relative to the longitudinal direction of the lamp 2 is in the range of 0<&theta<90, and air blown by the fan 5 passes through the deodorizing filter 4. With this structure, the photocatalyst deodorizer with low pressure loss and high efficiency can be provided.
