To provide a nurse call system in which a visitor can notify a patient that he/she is to enter a sickroom before entering.
SOLUTION: A notification button for notifying a patient that a visitor has come is provided as a touch panel (operation part) 12 ON an LCD 10 where the name of the patient is displayed of a corridor lamp 2, and a nurse call slave unit receives a notification button operation and sounds notification sound from a speaker. The corridor lamp 2 is provided with a patient related information storage part 13 storing visit impossible time information of the patient inside the sickroom, such as the inspection time and a date scheduled to go out and the state of allowing no visitors. When the notification button is operated and the stored visit impossible time information is referred to by the control of a corridor lamp CPU 20. When a notification operation is performed under a condition that visit is impossible and the information of impossible visit is displayed ON the LCD 10.
