A pin (45) extends from the lever (41). A cantilever spring (47) is operably engaged to the housing (20) of the instrument (10). A pin track member (46) is operably engaged to the cantilever spring (47) at a free end (48) thereof. The pin track member (46) is configured to permit translation of the pin (45) therealong between a first position (Pi) corresponding to the initial position of the lever (41) and a second position (P2) corresponding to the actuated position of the lever (41). The pin (45) is configured to translate from the first (Pi) to the second (P2) position along a first path and from the second position (P2) back to the first position (PI) along a second path and is configured to be releasably retained in the second position (P2).5/6 90 20 12 766 82 6 66 80 30 60 61 FIG. 7 640 73 74 65 67 0 63 707 69 66 FIG. 8 61 FIG. 9
