A pin extends from the lever. Acantilever spring is operably engaged to the housing of the instrument. A pintrack member is operably engaged to the cantilever spring at a free endthereof.The pin track member is configured to permit translation of the pin therealongbetween a first position corresponding to the initial position of the leverand asecond position corresponding to the actuated position of the lever. The pinisconfigured to translate from the first to the second position along a firstpath andfrom the second position back to the first position along a second path and isconfigured to be releasably retained in the second position.
