PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage in which inulin having intestinal regulation action is contained at high concentration and the unpleasant taste peculiar to inulin is suppressed.SOLUTION: Provided is a container-packed tea beverage containing inulin of 1-6 g/100 ml, catechin of 1-800 ppm, and a polymerized polyphenol. Said beverage preferably contains the inulin of 1.5-4 g/100 ml, the catechin of 100-600 ppm, and the polymerized polyphenol of 10-600 ppm. More preferably, said beverage contains the ratio of the content of inulin to the product of the content of catechin and the content of polymerized polyphenol (inulin content/(catechin content × polymerized polyphenol content)) is 0.02-60,000.
