PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the reaping of cereal culms at the margin of a furrow safely and also operating the transfer after the completion of the reaping at the margin of the furrow safely by having allowances.SOLUTION: This transmission device installing a raking-in pedal (2) cutting off the power transmission with a traveling device (1) by treadding, a main transmission lever (3) for changing the traveling speed of the traveling device (1), a pedal operation-checking means (A) allowing the treadding and returning of the raking-in pedal only in the state of operating the main transmission lever (3) at a neutral position or in the vicinity of the neutral position and a linking means (B) for driving a reaping part (5) by gear-operating the main transmission lever (3) in the state of holding the treadding of the raking-in pedal (2) is provided by installing a lever-checking means (C) making the main transmission lever (3) as operable only for progressing direction in the state of holding the treadding of the raking-in pedal (2).
