PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug audit support apparatus that can strike a balance between the improvement of inspection accuracy and the improvement of processing speed when performing drug audit assistance.SOLUTION: The drug audit support apparatus includes: a first examination means that executes a first examination to a drug in a cartridge based on an image obtained by taking picture of the cartridge by a camera 33, and calculates a position of the drug that should be subjected to a second inspection based on the image and a second examination means that acquires characteristics of the drug by a probe 40 made to be adjacent to the drug that should be subjected to a second inspection, and executes a second examination to the drug that should be subjected to a second inspection based on the characteristics that have been acquired.
