The invention relates to an electric popcorn maker which is a home appliance used for producing popcorn, being used also for quickly making sandwiches, cheeseburgers, hamburgers and also for roasting seeds, sweet chestnuts, frying eggs, roasting vegetables and meat products such as grilled minced-meat rolls, roast meat, sausages and fish. According to the invention, the electric popcorn maker comprises some shoes (1) for insulating the metal body (2) of the apparatus which plays a role in bearing the ceramic support (3) of an electric resistor (4), a metal support (5) placed in the lateral area of the body (2), bears a cover (6) provided with an insulating hand grip (7) and a pressure valve (8), an axle (9) fixed in a fastening plate (10) playing a role both in supporting and rotating a tray (11), said rotation being imposed by a spring (12) provided with a hand grip (13) made of plastic material, on the body (2) of the popcorn maker there being mounted a hand grip (14) for handling, a power plug (15) wherein there is introduced an adapter (16) with a protection collar and an electrical switch (17) provided with a power cable (18) and the plug (19) to be connected to the socket.Invenţia se referă la la un electropopcorn ce este un aparat electrocasnic folosit pentru producerea popcornului, putând fi utilizat şi pentru producerea rapidă a sandvişurilor, cheeseburgerilor, hamburgerilor, precum şi pentru prăjirea seminţelor, castanelor, ouălor, legumelor sau a altor preparate din carne, ca, de exemplu: mititei, fripturi, cârnaţi sau peşte.
