Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Taktwaschanlage (1) mit einer Waschtrommel (2) die wenigstens eine ortsfeste Außentrommel (3) mit einem Außentrommelmantel (9) und eine darin bewegbar angeordnete Innentrommel (4) mit einem zumindest teilweise gelochten Innentrommelmantel (8) aufwiest. Erfindungsgemäß ist die UV-Beleuchtungsvorrichtung (7) dabei so an der Waschtrommel (2) angeordnet, dass gezielt solche Teile der Waschtrommel (2) bestrahlt werden, welche im Betrieb der Taktwaschanlage (1) nicht dauernd von Waschflotte (10) überströmt werden.
