PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ostomy guide plate for assessing the stomal and/or peristomal configuration of a patient, the ostomy guide plate comprising a distal face, a proximal face with a convex protrusion, and an aperture in the convex protrusion.SOLUTION: An ostomy guide plate 11 includes a planar distal face 12, and a concave depression 13 corresponding to the convex protrusion on the guide plate 11. The circular concave depression 13 is located centrally in the plate 11 and the circular aperture 14 is located centrally in the concave depression 13. The guide plate 11 is provided with two oppositely located handles 15 which are formed as natural extensions of the planar distal surface and with the same thickness. In use, a nurse can apply pressure to the two handles 15, when assessing the need of convexity and when assessing the stomal configuration of a patient, thereby applying an equally distributed pressure to the guide plate 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1a【課題】患者のストーマの及び／又はストーマ周囲の形状を評価し、遠位面、凸状の突出部を有する近位面、及び上記凸状の突出部における開口を備えたオストミー案内板を提供する。【解決手段】オストミー案内板１１は、平らな遠位面１２、案内板１１の近位面の凸状の突出部に対応する凹状の窪み１３を持つ。円形の凹状の窪み１３は、案内板１１に中心に位置し、円形の開口１４が凹状の窪み１３における中心に位置する。案内板１１は、平らな遠位面の自然な拡張としてかつ同じ厚さで形成される２つの対向して位置するハンドル１５を設ける。使用においては、凸状の必要性を評価するとき、及び患者のストーマの形状を評価するとき、看護師は２つのハンドル１５に圧力を加えることができ、それによって案内板１１に等しく分配された圧力を加える。【選択図】図１ａ
