PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic device which can perform detection correctly reflecting the movement of an actual portion of interest in an ultrasonic image.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic device comprises: a determination part which determines whether or not the scan surface of a real-time B mode image BI includes the movement direction of the tip in the scan surface of the B mode image BI in which the tip of a puncture needle 12 is designated and a movement detection part which detects movement of the tip on the basis of the B mode images BI that are acquired for the scan surface of the real-time B mode image BI and belong to frames different from each other timewise when the determination part determines that the scan surface of the real-time B mode image BI includes the movement direction of the tip.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
