PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic bonding device with which damage accumulated on anvils due to ultrasonic vibration is reduced to improve the quality of ultrasonic bonding so as to perform stable ultrasonic bonding treatment.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic bonding device includes the following structure: an anvil 200 is provided with a base 210 and ridges 220, 230. The base 210 is mounted on a mounting position 112a on the outer peripheral surface 112 of a rotary drum 110. The ridge 220 protrudes from the surface 210a of the base 210 in the direction H normal to the rotary drum 110 and is formed in a linear formation along the surface 210a in the intersecting direction CD. The ridge 220 is provided with protrusions 240 which protrude in the normal direction H. One end 220a of the ridge 220 is provided on the surface 210a of the base 210 at the more antecedent side in the rotating direction R than the other end 220b. The ridge 220 is provided with a cutout 260 extending in a direction opposite to a direction in which the protrusions 240 protrude and extending from the surface of the ridge 220 which protrudes from the surface 210a of the base 210, to the vicinity of the middle of the ridge 220.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
