The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising martynoside of Chemical Formula 1 or an acceptable salt thereof; isomartynoside of Chemical Formula 2 or an acceptable salt thereof; or a hexane fraction of a Clerodendrum trichotomum extract as an effective ingredient for preventing or alleviating skin wrinkles. The ingredient suppresses cell damage attributed to UV light and remarkably inhibits the expression of MMP-1 and thus can be applied to a cosmetic product, a health functional food, or a medicinal product for preventing, alleviating or treating skin wrinkles.
