PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head and neck support tool capable of improving a user's respiration and posture to enable him or her to lead a comfortable daily life, solving a problem that the user takes a slouching posture by his or her head part being inclined forward which makes the respiration difficult, by reliably supporting the user's neck part from the lateral side, and, preferably, further supporting the user's lower jaw part from below.SOLUTION: There is provided a head and neck part support tool for care mounted on a posture holding tool for holding a user in a constant posture, or a wheelchair, which includes a rod-shaped neck part support rod that can extend and project on the right side and/or on the left side of the user's neck part.【課題】使用者の頸部を側方から確実に支持することができ、望ましくは更に使用者の下顎部を下方から支持する事により、使用者の頭部が前方に傾倒して俯き姿勢となり、呼吸が困難になるといった問題を解決し、使用者の呼吸や姿勢を改善して、健常な日常生活を可能にすることのできる頭頸部サポート具を提供する。【解決手段】使用者を一定の姿勢に保持する姿勢保持具又は車椅子に装着される頭頸部サポート具であって、使用者の頸部の右側及び／又は左側に延在して突出することのできる杆状の頸部サポート杆を具備することを特徴とする、介護用の頭頸部サポート具を提供する。【選択図】図１
