PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of retaining a shape of a compressed groove even when absorbing a liquid and capable of avoiding deformation of an absorber.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 10 includes: a liquid-permeable top sheet 20 a liquid-impermeable back sheet 50 and an absorber 40 between the top and back sheets. A compressed groove 90 is formed from a skin abutting surface of the top sheet to the absorber. Adhesives 60 and 70 are formed in upper and lower parts of the absorber corresponding to an area of the compressed groove, respectively.
