PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filling method in which intrusion of moisture is prevented in a process of filling a content, and intrusion of moisture into a container after filling is also reliably prevented.SOLUTION: A filling method includes the steps of: forming a coated film by coating a water vapor barrier composition containing an inorganic particle onto an outer peripheral surface of a container made of a resin molding body filling a content into the container after forming the coated film sealing and dehydrating the container filled with the content and making moisture remaining in the container permeate outside and applying heat treatment to the coated film as a water vapor barrier layer. After filling the content into the container, freeze-drying is carried out, and then the container may be sealed and dehydrated.
