PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article that can be easily attached and can reduce body fluid from leaking.SOLUTION: When using an inner pad 1, elastic members 19 are contracted as a release sheet 30 is peeled from an adhesive member 20 and adhesive members 21, 21 to contract regions R on both sides of a back sheet 10b, thereby applying tension on a center side in the width direction of the back sheet 10b on which the adhesive member 20 is provided. This allows the center side of the back sheet 10b to be kept flat, and prevents the adhesive member 20 from sticking to each other when peeling the release sheet 30 from the inner pad 1. Further, the inner pad 1 can be appropriately bonded on a predetermined object (such as an underwear and a disposable paper diaper) without adhesiveness of the adhesive member 20 and the adhesive members 21, 21 being impaired, allowing a user to easily attach the inner pad in a crotch part. Leaking of body fluid can be therefore reduced by appropriately attaching the inner pad 1.
