The present invention relates to a chewing gum for mucosal delivery ofcannabinoids, the chewing gum comprising water-soluble chewing gum ingredientsand water-insoluble gum base, wherein the gum base comprising one or morenaturalresins in an amount of 10-40% by weight of the gum base, one or moreelastomers inan amount of 3-30% by weight of the gum base, and one or more elastomerplasticizers in an amount of 8-50% by weight of the gum base, and wherein thewater-soluble chewing gum ingredients comprise one or more sugar alcohols inanamount of 35-80% by weight of the chewing gum, and wherein the chewing gumcomprises one or more cannabinoids.
