The present invention relates to a method for preparing a biomass of photosynthetic microalgae having a phycobiliprotein content of at least 20% of the dry weight of said biomass. The present invention also relates to a biomass enriched with phycobiliproteins and its use as a dietary supplement or constituent of nutraceutical and cosmetic preparations. La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'une biomasse de microalgues photosynthétiques présentant une teneur en phycobiliprotéines au moins égale à 20% du poids sec de ladite biomasse. La présente invention concerne également une biomasse enrichie en phycobiliprotéines et son utilisation en tant que complément alimentaire ou constituant de préparations nutraceutiques et cosmétiques.
