PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent interruption of display of an indicator.SOLUTION: In a disposable diaper, a clear and colorless indicator 80 is provided on a liquid-impermeable sheet 11 in such a manner as to come into contact with an excreted liquid coming from above. A part, which at least partially overlaps the indicator 80, of a packaging sheet 58 is coated with a developer 81 for making the indicator 80 develop a color. The whole part, which overlaps the indicator 80, of the packaging sheet 58 serves as a high-diffusion part 58h or 59 high in liquid diffusibility in a direction orthogonal to a thickness direction in comparison with surroundings. The developer 81 is dissolved in the excreted liquid and brought into contact with the indicator 80 together with the excreted liquid so that the indicator 80 can develop the color.
