PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of improving absorption capacity of an excreted liquid while securing an ability to diffuse the excreted liquid on a liquid diffusion sheet repeatedly and utilizing a whole absorber effectively.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises: a liquid permeable sheet 2 a liquid impermeable sheet 3 disposed on one surface side of the liquid permeable sheet 2 and an absorber 4 disposed between the liquid permeable sheet 2 and the liquid impermeable sheet 3. A liquid diffusion sheet 5, which is formed of a nonwoven fabric including a cellulose fiber and extends to a longer direction of the absorber 4, is disposed between the absorber 4 and the liquid impermeable sheet 3.
