PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of effectively preventing a stuffy state.SOLUTION: In an absorbent article 1 of the invention, a rear sheet 3 has moisture permeability, and an absorber 4 comprises a laminate composed of absorbent sheets 401 to 403. The absorbent article 1 comprises, in an excretion opposing part, an excretion slit area where slits 43a and 43b penetrating an absorbent sheet 401 are formed in such a manner that they are dispersed in the longitudinal and lateral directions, the absorbent sheet being nearest to a surface sheet 2. The absorber 4 comprises a multilayer part 42 having many laminated numbers of absorbent sheets at the excretion opposing part, and comprises the penetration slits 43a penetrating the absorber 4 in the multilayer part 42.
