A surface sheet 2 comprises, on its skin opposing surface 2a side, a plurality of protruded parts 21 and recessed parts 20 located between the neighboring protruded parts 21. In a plane view of an absorbent article 1, the longitudinal slits 43 of the absorber 4 and the recessed parts 20 of the surface sheet 2 are crossing.
