PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of improving a wearing feeling of a wearer by improving drawing properties of body fluid with high viscosity such as menstrual blood.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 includes: a body part 2 wing parts 43 protruding to the width-directional outward of the body part and flap parts 60 protruding to the width-directional outward of the body part at the rear parts of the wing parts. Each flap part has a flap absorber 35, and a flap surface sheet 12 located closer to a skin contact surface side than the flap absorber. The flap part is formed with a flap embossment part 70 formed by compressing the flap absorber and the flap surface sheet in the thickness direction.
