The objects of the present invention are to provide an ingredient material-containing fermented milk, form which the consumers can take cereals and the like very easily, and a method for manufacturing thereof. The method for manufacturing an ingredient material-containing fermented milk related to the present invention comprises a sterilization step and an addition step. In the sterilization step, an ingredient material is sterilized. In the addition step, an ingredient material is added into a fermented milk. Preferably, an ingredient material-containing water is heated, or an ingredient material is added into an acidic water, in the sterilization step.
