The present invention relates to a method for cultivating orostachys japonicus and, more specifically, is characterized by including the steps of: sowing and germinating the seed of orostachys japonicas； transplanting the germinated seed into a tray or bare ground； breeding the transplanted seed； cutting orostachys japonicus left on one or more than leave layers when the bottom of the orostachys japonicus is cut. According to the present invention, not only profits of farms cultivating orostachys japonicas increase by remarkably increasing the yield of orostachys japonicus, but also active ingredients from the orostachys japonicus are capable of being extracted in mass, thereby allowing useful application as a medical and pharmaceutical product.
