The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a dry hydrogel sheet and a hydrogel sheet manufactured by the same. The method for manufacturing a dry hydrogel sheet comprises the following steps: manufacturing a cellulose ether dispersion； transferring the dispersion to a coating machine while maintaining a temperature of the dispersion within a temperature range between a gelation temperature of the dispersion and a boiling point of a dispersion medium； applying the dispersion, transferred to the coating machine, on a sheet； manufacturing the hydrogel sheet as the applied dispersion is cooled and becomes gel； and drying the hydrogel sheet. The dry hydrogel sheet, manufactured by the manufacturing method of the present invention has low moisture content and thus can ensure stability of active ingredients. Functional ingredients can be quantified and applied to the dry hydrogel sheet. As an external appearance of the surface and thickness of the dry hydrogel sheet can be obtained, quality of a final product can be increased.본 발명은 셀룰로오스 에테르 분산액을 제조하는 단계, 상기 분산액의 온도를 상기 분산액의 겔화 온도 내지 분산매의 비점 사이 범위 온도로 유지시키면서 상기 분산액을 코팅기로 이송하는 단계, 상기 코팅기로 이송된 분산액을 시트상으로 도포하는 단계, 도포된 상기 분산액이 냉각되면서 겔화되어 하이드로겔 시트로 제조되는 단계 및 상기 하이드로겔 시트를 건조하는 단계를 포함하는 건조 하이드로겔 시트의 제조방법 및 그 제조방법에 의해 제조된 건조 하이드로겔 시트에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 제조방법에 따라 제조된 건조 하이드로겔 시트는 낮은 수분함량을 가지므로 유효성분의 안정성을 담보할 수 있고, 상기 건조 하이드로겔 시트에 기능성 성분을 정량화하여 적용할 수 있으며, 상기 건조 하이드로겔 시트의 표면 외관 및 두께에 대한 균일성이 확보되므로 최종 제품의 품질을 향상시킬 수 있다.
