The present invention relates to formulation of a novel prebiotic nutritional composition formulated as neutraceutical cookies comprising psyllium husk and blend of extracts of other herbs viz. Bacopa moreini and Saraca Indica and the method of preparation thereof. Cookies were prepared by using psyllium husk along with two herbs by a method comprising steps viz. blending, mixing, refrigerating, preheating and heating.
