A method for extracting the valuable substances is provided to process a large quantity of biomass material by using the heated and pressurized liquid solvent, and extract the desired valuable substance from the biomass material. The apparatus(1) for extracting the valuable substances comprises (i) a raw material-mixing tub(2) for mixing and agitating the mixture containing biomass material and extraction solvent capable of solubilizing the valuable substances in the biomass material, (ii) a reactor(3) for heating the mixture to the temperature that can extract the valuable substances and extracting the valuable substances in the liquid phase under pressure more than the saturated vapor pressure of the extraction solvent, (iii) solid-liquid separating tool(4, 5, 6) for separating the solid material from the extract including the solid material which is extracted by the reactor, (iv) an evaporator(7) for distilling the extract in which the solid material is separated to separate the extraction solvent and valuable substances and (v) a condenser(8) for cooling and liquefying the extraction solvent for reuse. 본 발명의 과제는 가열 및 가압된 액상 상태의 액상 용매에 의해 대량의 바이오매스 원료의 처리를 가능하게 하기 위한 것이다. 본 발명은 바이오매스 원료와 바이오매스 원료에 포함되어 있는 유용 물질을 용해 가능한 추출 용매를 원료 혼합조(2)로 혼합 교반하고, 유용 물질을 추출 가능한 온도로, 한편 추출 용매의 포화 증기압 이상의 압력하의 액상으로, 유용 물질을 바이오매스 원료로부터 반응기(3)로 추출한다. 추출된 유용 물질을 포함하는 추출액과 고형물을 탈수 수단(4)으로 분리하고, 이 추출액으로부터 고형분을 여과기(6)로 여과하고, 여과된 추출액을 증류기(7)로 증류하고, 추출 용매와 유용 물질을 분리하고, 추출 용매를 회수하여 유용 물질을 얻는다.
