The present invention relates to synthetic oligosaccharides of formula (I) and conjugates thereof related to Klebsiella pneumoniae serotypes O3, O3b and/or O5 lipopolysaccharides. The synthetic oligosaccharide, the conjugate, and the pharmaceutical composition containing the synthetic oligosaccharide and the conjugate are useful for preventing and/or treating diseases associated with Klebsiella pneumoniae .
