PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify operations of an electronic clinical thermometer for setting selection or non-selection regarding a plurality of items.SOLUTION: An electronic clinical thermometer having a function to record memoranda on an item selected by the user out of a plurality of items available for selection holds temperature data obtained by thermometry over a plurality of days, displays an item selection screen that enables one of a plurality of items to be selected according to the operation for selecting the memorandum recording function, makes selectable one of the plurality of items on the item selection screen by a prescribed operation by the user, and records a memorandum on the item in the selected state according to a deciding operation by the user. The electronic clinical thermometer, when displaying the item selection screen according to the selecting operation for the first time, selects one of a plurality of items on the basis of the temperature data that are held and displays the selected item as being in the selected state.【課題】電子体温計における、複数項目についての選択と非選択を設定するための操作をより簡略化する。【解決手段】選択可能な複数の項目からユーザが選択した項目をメモ記録する機能を有する電子体温計は、体温計測で得られた複数の日にちにわたる体温データを保持し、メモ機能の選択操作に応じて複数の項目のいずれかを選択可能とする項目選択画面を表示し、項目選択画面において、ユーザの所定操作により前記複数の項目のいずれかを選択状態とし、ユーザからの決定操作に応じて、前記選択状態となっている項目をメモ記録する。ここで、電子体温計は、選択操作に応じて最初に項目選択画面を表示する際に、保持されている体温データに基づいて複数の項目のいずれかを選択し、選択された項目を選択状態として表示する。【選択図】図４Ａ
