PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating memory retentivity providing an objective evaluation result with little burden put on a subject in a short time despite the skill or the like of an evaluator, providing various parameters in the evaluation, and performing detailed evaluation and analysis on a cognitive function.SOLUTION: This method for evaluating the memory retentivity includes steps for: instantaneously displaying a model figure 10 such as an ellipse 11 as a memory problem for a subject, on a display input screen 5 on which the subject can draw displaying an interval picture for a prescribed time on the display input screen 5 after the instantaneously displayed model figure 10 has been erased: and allowing the subject to reproduce, on the display input screen 5 after the interval picture has been erased, the model figure 10 by drawing on the display input screen 5.
