Provided is a radiographic apparatus that can conduct radiography for an appropriate imaging region although a subject bends in a body-side direction. With one example of this invention, two or more fluoroscopic X-ray images successively taken are connected to generate a single fluoroscopic X-ray image. With a conventional configuration, when a subject bending in the body-side direction is imaged, the subject extends off a detecting surface of an FPD in the body-side direction. As a result, it is difficult to take an entire image of the subject. Thus, with the example, a detecting surface 4a is moved along a path F inclined relative to a vertical direction to successively take fluoroscopic X-ray images of the subject. The fluoroscopic X-ray images can be successively taken along bending curvature of the subject, which enables to take an entire image of the bending subject easily.
