PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cooling apparatus enabling a vacuum pump to stably exhibit an ability in the vacuum cooling apparatus using the vacuum pump.SOLUTION: A vacuum cooling apparatus includes: a processing tank 2 for storing an object to be cooled a vacuum pump 1 connected to the processing tank 2 by a vacuum path 9 and sucking gas in the processing tank a vacuum pump intake air temperature sensor 15 detecting a temperature of suction gas flowing in the vacuum path 9 connecting the processing tank and the vacuum pump a vacuum pump air introduction valve 14 controlling outside air introduction in the vacuum path and an operation control device 5 controlling the operation of the vacuum pump and the vacuum pump air introduction valve, and cools the object to be cooled by making the processing tank inside vacuum.
