A working machine (10) includes a throttle cable (45) for transmitting an amount of operation of a throttle lever (27) to a throttle valve (14), upper and lower guide rollers (55, 56) for guiding the throttle cable (45), and a throttle cable tightening/loosening means (57) including a pivotable arm portion (58) having a pressing roller (59) located between the upper and lower guide rollers (55, 56). The working machine (10) further includes connecting means (64) interconnecting the arm portion (58) and a clutch lever (23). Operation of the clutch lever (23) moves the pressing roller (59) between a tightening position (P8) to tighten the throttle cable (45) and a slackening position (P9) to slacken the throttle cable (45).
