PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can achieve both of liquid absorption effect by an absorber and a deodorization effect by a deodorant.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 100 comprises: a liquid permeable surface sheet 120； a liquid impermeable rear surface sheet 130； and an absorber 140 provided between the surface sheet and the rear surface sheet, and has a longitudinal direction, a width direction and a thickness direction which are orthogonal to each other. The absorbent article 100 comprises, in plane view, an urination area PA1 and a peripheral area PA2 for surrounding the urination area, and comprises an auxiliary sheet 144 which exists between the absorber and the surface sheet and contains a deodorant.
