The water-absorbent polymer composition of the present invention includes (A) a water-absorbent polymer, and (B) a polymer other than the water-absorbent polymer, which is soluble in a volatile solvent. The average particle diameter of the water-absorbent polymer (A) is preferably 1 μm or more and 100 μm or less. It is also preferable that the polymer (B) soluble in the volatile solvent is a copolymer derived from an ethylenically unsaturated monomer or a silicone copolymer.
