PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent pad with little positional displacement relative to a diaper or underwear and with the minimum occupying area of a hook tape on the rear surface of a liquid-impermeable back sheet even if a wearer moves forward by alternately moving the left and right sides of buttocks and a pair of lower limbs toward the front while retaining the long seated posture when wears the absorbent pad and a method of manufacturing the same.
SOLUTION: The absorbent pad 200 has an absorber 23 interposed between the liquid-impermeable back sheet 21 and a liquid-permeable top sheet 22 present on the front surface side of the liquid-impermeable back sheet 21. A pair of back-side hook tapes 31 are fixed to the back side on the rear surface of the liquid-impermeable back sheet 21 of the absorbent pad 200 in a truncated chevron shape to be widened downward from the back side toward the abdominal side.
