PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod having a joining structure capable of realizing a gradual and smooth bend without stress concentration at a joining portion between rod rods constituting a tip rod. A fishing rod of the present invention includes a tip rod 10 having a joint portion 60 in which a solid rod rod 15 is inserted and fixed on a tip side of a hollow rod 12. The tip rod 10 has a first yarn body 30 wound around the outer periphery of the solid rod rod 15 so as to fill a step 62 on the surface of the tip rod 10 in the joint portion 60, and the outer periphery of the joint portion 60. It has a hollow threaded rod 12 and a second threaded body 32 wound around a first threaded body 30 on a solid rod 15. The leg portion 70a of the fishing line guide 70 is placed on the second yarn body 32, and the tip end side end portion 30a of the first yarn body 30 has the tip end side end portion 32a of the second yarn body 32.
