PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod having a joint structure which prevents a joint section between rods constituting a tip rod from becoming cracked and makes it difficult to visually recognize a crack if the joint section becomes cracked.SOLUTION: The fishing rod comprises a tip rod 10 having a joint section 16 with a small-diameter rod 15 inserted and fixed thereto, on the tip side of a hollow large-diameter rod 12.
