PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod able to be promoted to have high strength with promoting the rod to have a light weight, and simply and easily satisfying high-precision rigidity balance.SOLUTION: A first prepreg layer 13 wound with a first prepreg 131 which is a fiber-reinforced prepreg is formed on a core metal 12 ranging from one end of a pipe member 11, wherein the prepreg is wound to have almost the same face as that of the base end portion of a solid part 10.
