PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top rod that has high torsion strength and is hard to cause plastic deformation while being a rod body on the basis of a solid rod-shaped core body.SOLUTION: A top rod is a solid rod-shaped body comprising a glass reinforcing fiber group and a matrix resin. An outer layer 1D provided to the outside of the solid rod-shaped body has an inside prepreg tape 13A for an outer layer being wound spirally with a narrow width and an outside prepreg tape 13B for the outer layer being wound spirally with the narrow width being wound so that carbon reinforced fibers of inside/outside prepreg tapes for those outer layers may intersect with each other in a radial direction view, and further, has a winding lead angle of the inside/outside prepreg tape to the axis line being set to 60°-89°in an enlarged diameter portion of a former edge side in the solid rod-shaped body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】中実棒状のコア体を基礎とした竿体でありながら、捩じり強度が高くかつ塑性変形等が起きにくい穂先竿を提供する。【解決手段】ガラス製の強化繊維群とマトリックス樹脂とでなる中実棒状体であり、その中実棒状体の外側にほどこされる外側層1Dは、螺旋状に巻回された細幅の外側層用の内側プリプレグテープ13Aと、螺旋状に巻回された細幅の外側層用の外側プリプレグテープ13Bとが、それら外側層用の内外プリプレグテープの炭素製強化繊維が、径方向視において互いに交差するように巻回され、更に、内外プリプレグテープの軸線に対する巻き付けリード角を中実棒状体における元端側の大径部分において60°~89°に設定している。【選択図】図6
